Exam and Application Overview

  • Registration Deadline: December 31, 2024.
  • Correction Window: January 1 to January 7, 2025.
  • Exam Date: April 13, 2025.
  • Total Seats: 406 seats, distributed as follows:
    • National Defence Academy (NDA):
      • Army: 208 seats (including 10 for female candidates).
      • Navy: 42 seats (including 6 for female candidates).
      • Air Force (Flying): 92 seats (including 2 for female candidates).
      • Air Force (Ground Duties – Tech): 18 seats (including 2 for female candidates).
      • Air Force (Ground Duties – Non-Tech): 10 seats (including 2 for female candidates).
    • Naval Academy (NA): Included in the 406 total.

The vacancies are provisional and may vary depending on the availability of training capacity at the NDA and INA.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
  • Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Exam Highlights

NDA Exam Pattern

  1. Mathematics: 300 marks.
  2. General Ability Test (GAT): 600 marks.
  3. Total: 900 marks (written exam).
  4. SSB Interview: 900 marks.

Candidates must prepare thoroughly for both the written exam and the SSB interview, as the competition is intense.
