Model Dayle Haddon, a renowned model of the 1970s and 1980s, tragically passed away on Friday due to a suspected carbon monoxide leak at a property in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The incident also left a 76-year-old man hospitalized, authorities reported.
The home, owned by Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, and her husband, actor Marc Blucas, became the site of the tragic event early Friday morning.
Incident Details
Solebury Township police received a 911 call at approximately 6:30 a.m., reporting that a man had passed out on the first floor of a detached office or in-law suite on the property. Emergency responders from the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad arrived promptly, removing the unconscious man and transporting him to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. His current condition remains unknown.
Dayle Haddon was discovered in a second-floor bedroom of the same suite. Sadly, the 76-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials identified a heating unit malfunction as the likely cause of the carbon monoxide exposure, which resulted in dangerously high levels of the gas within the structure.
Two medics who responded to the scene were also exposed to the gas and were subsequently treated at Doylestown Hospital. A police officer was treated on-site. All three are reported to be stable.
