The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2025. Below are the details:

• Application Window: December 27, 2024 – January 16, 2025
• Preliminary Exam Dates: March 8–15, 2025
• Main Exam Dates: April or May 2025

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
• SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PwD): Exempted

Payment Mode: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as of April 1, 2024):

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 30 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per SBI PO Recruitment Rules 2024.

Educational Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree (passed or appearing) in any discipline from a recognised university in India.

Selection Process

The selection process involves three phases:

1. Phase 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Test).
2. Phase 2: Main Examination (Objective and Descriptive Tests).
3. Phase 3:
   • Psychometric Test
   • Group Exercise
   • Interview

Note:

• Candidates must qualify in each phase to advance to the next stage.
• The Preliminary Exam Call Letter will be verified and stamped at the exam center. Candidates should retain this stamped call letter and a stamped copy of their ID proof for further stages.

Instructions for Main Exam

Shortlisted candidates must bring the following:

1. Authenticated original Preliminary Exam Call Letter (with the stamped ID proof).
2. Main Exam Call Letter.
3. Other required documents specified in the “Acquaint Yourself Booklet” and Call Letter.
