Suriya in Talks with Venky Atluri for His Next: Can This Film Redeem the Actor’s Stardom?
Suriya’s much-anticipated film, Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, had a grand theatrical release but fell short of audience expectations. Despite the hype surrounding its release on November 14, 2024, the film struggled to make a significant impact in cinemas.
The movie has now made its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video and is available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Hindi version is expected to arrive later. Notably, Kanguva entered the digital platform just three weeks after its theatrical release, and it remains to be seen how it will resonate with home viewers.
The film features Disha Patani as the female lead, while Bollywood star Bobby Deol plays the primary antagonist. Karthi also makes a special appearance during the climax, adding to the film’s star-studded appeal. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, KS Ravi Kumar, and others.
Produced by Studio Green in collaboration with UV Creations, the movie boasts a musical score by renowned composer Devi Sri Prasad. With its grand visuals and intriguing premise, Kanguva now has a second chance to capture audience attention through its OTT release.
