A disturbing incident in Bagalkot, Karnataka, has left a woman, identified as Basamma, severely injured after a hair dryer explosion caused her to lose both forearms. The shocking event led to the arrest of her boyfriend, who is accused of orchestrating the explosion by sending a hair dryer rigged with a detonator.
According to the police, the boyfriend allegedly sent the hair dryer to the victim’s neighbor in an attempt to intimidate the neighbor, who had advised the couple to end their relationship. When the neighbor was unavailable to accept the package, they asked Basamma to collect it instead. Tragically, when she later used the hair dryer, it exploded, causing life-altering injuries.
